Dr. Hasan is dedicated to caring for and doctoring people with the most common neurological disorders, with interest in stroke, headache, epilepsy, cervical/lumbar radiculopathies, degenerative disc-related pain, paresthesia, sleep disorders, and dementias. He is also fluent in treating more uncommon neurological disorders such as multiple sclerosis, ALS, myopathies, and Huntington's disease. He is trained to perform EMG (electromyography) and NCS (nerve conduction studies). Being a neurologist, he is proficient in reading EEGs (electroencephalograms) and interpreting sleep studies (PSGs/MSLTs/CPAP titrations/Ambulatory sleep monitors) and does so on a daily basis.

Dr. Hasan graduated from University Central Del Caribe in the year 2000. He furthered his education by interning at University of Puerto Rico, then completing a residency at Tulane University. Dr. Hasan is a Piedmont Henry Hospital affiliate and has dedicated ten years to the hospital. He opened Sand Clinic in 2006 and has continued his solo practice.

He is a loving father of four and married best friend. His parents immigrated to this wonderful country when he was three years old from Southeast Asia. He loves weightlifting, watching trivia game shows, cooking, and being an active parent.
